Map and Directions
Directions from London
By train: You can take the high speed train from Paddington main line station, or the slower, but still direct train from Waterloo. The Paddington trains are frequent, around every 30mins, but the Waterloo ones are much less frequent. Call National Rail Enquiries on 0845 748 4950 for detailed information on times and prices. There are also fairly frequent coach departures from Victoria Coach Station, that are very reasonably priced. Call 0990 898989 for more information.
By road, you can either follow the A4, which is a fairly twisty but pleasant drive but which will take quite a long time, or follow the much quicker M4 - quicker that is, unless there's an accident or roadworks! M4 directions first (allow 3 hours from central London in normal conditions). Follow the M4 as far as junction 18, where you should turn off left, onto the A46 signposted Bath. Keep on this road for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with the A4 signposted Bath/Chippenham. Come off at the slip road, and take the last exit signposted Bath/City Centre. Ingoring pelican crossings you will pass one set of Traffic lights after about 1.5 miles where you should go straight over, and then a mini roundabout at which you take the second exit (straight over). About 400 metres after this, you come to more traffic lights - go straight over (road kinks slightly to right but the left hand branch is one way). You will pass one turning to the left which you don't take (it's called Milsom Street) and the club/pub is 100 metres further on to your right.
If you are following the A4 then the A4 will take you right into Bath. Follow the directions to the club/pub given above from the point where the A46 crosses the A4. See you at the bar!
