Music 4 Myeloma
 doubtful guest 31 January 2008 Moles will be playing host to a very special fundraising event on Wednesday February 27, organised in association with the Bath Chronicle's Dan Biggane, entitled Music 4 Myeloma. The evening, which will feature live sets from The Operation, The Mandibles and The Doubtful Guest, has been arranged following the death of Dan's mum to the illness, which is a bone marrow cancer, last year. Dan said: "The showcase will be a fundraising evening in aid of Myeloma UK which provides information and support to all those affected by this type of cancer and aims to improve treatment and care through education, research, campaigning and awareness.
'My mum loved music and I feel that events like this would be the best way to raise the profile of the disease, raise money for the charity and give people the chance to have a good time.' |
