To play the Porter…. We need to know what you sound like so we have an idea which night would best suit your style of music. A reasonable length sample of your music, plus a little additional information, such as line-up of musicians, whether you have a record deal, reviews of gigs you've played, and a photo of the band are all helpful in reaching a decision.
For the Porter, we look for a variety of styles, but no heavy rock or metal please as there is a sound limit in this venue!
Please note we are now able to book solos and duos for our open mic night "Groundswell" in addition to the usual bands on other nights.
A good quality CD is the best format for us to hear your music or if you have a web address with mp3s you can email your link to Lynne ,
If we can't give you a gig in the Porter, then we may be able to offer you something at Moles Club, our other venue. We have a wide range of nights, and can manage to fit most levels of ability or styles of music into our program somewhere.

Please remember that we receive a large amount of CDs and emails each day, it often takes us up to three weeks from receiving the music to listening to it, your patience is very much appreciated.
